Greetings human-like creatures!
So I’m a long time writer/dreamer who has decided that I should officially enter the adult world and start doing all the things I have always just talked about. I write poems, short stories, random thoughts and have been working on a novel for the past year and a half. I live in the suburbs in Brisbane, Australia and love my city and my country.
I work full-time in the corporate world, raise two children, manage to keep a roof over our heads, have running water & electricity in the house, and, a sometimes stocked fridge. So I guess I am not currently failing this adult thing just yet.
I love life. I do not have a brain-mouth filter and will probably snort-laugh at myself before you even get a chance. I struggle to walk across a flat surface, let alone complete any other physical activity. Although I do tend to move better in pumps and high-heeled boots…go figure.
I am interested in many random things and start millions of small projects, which I sometimes manage to complete. Or at least one – I’m going for one. I’m not stupid, but I always manage to do stupid things. If you want to laugh at my misadventures (and feel vastly better about your own inadequacies), come join me on my roller coaster ride that is my everyday life. My motto is “just keep swimming” and YES – I did ‘borrow’ that from Dory.
